Vintage photo of the week: The world in a fish bowl
Give your eyes a second to adjust and I'm sure that you'll see the fish and figure out what the picture is. I found this photo this week at an antiques mall mixed in with a batch 1920s family photos. I was flipping through rather normal pictures of family members posed together when I found this tiny thing (it's only 1.5 x 2 in. in real life) upside down and said "what the heck is that?" After turning it around 180 degrees, my eyes could finally focus on the fish. I like the odd angle, the reflection of the water in the top, and the silhouettes of the fish. Accidentally avant garde. Enjoy!
