Fashion inspiration from ancient civilizations

The first picture above is a scarf from Etsy store Oropopo, depicting what seems to be a geometric lunar landscape at first glance. The scarf is actually inspired by the ancient Chaco culture pueblo ruins in northern New Mexico and is a modern interpretation of the ruins in the second photo. Very cool! I can see how the design on the scarf really does correspond to the ruins. If you would like to see more shots of the scarf, you can HERE. If you want to learn more about the Chaco culture and the ruins, look HERE and HERE.
