Project: 1920s Cottage Frock

The vintage sewing project that I tried this week was a 1920s Cottage Frock pattern from Women's Home Magazine May 1922, found on Pinterest HERE. Drafting the pattern from the directions provided was pretty easy. I changed a few things from the pattern to suit my tastes such as leaving out the pockets, widening the neck opening to not need a button in the back, shortening it to knee length and adding trim. If you want to make your own version, I've included the full article and pattern at the bottom of the post. If that pattern is too much for you, at the very bottom there is a similar yet simpler pattern from the blog Festive Attyre. Enjoy!
