Project: 1970s Summer Peasant Blouse

It seems like it's been forever since I posted about a sewing project. I have been doing a ton of sewing, but it's all been repairing items for the store. So, it was nice to recently get a break and take the time to make myself a summer peasant blouse. I used a 1970s pattern from the thrift store and and some 1930s cotton mesh fabric to make the cute Mexican senorita inspired blouse above. Want to make your own? You can find copies of the vintage patterns HERE and a similar 1930s mesh fabric by the yard from Duchess Trading, HERE. Enjoy!
